Is there individual accident insurance available for the event?

Yes, it is possible to subscribe to an individual accident insurance policy covering rescue costs and medical expenses, among others. Such insurance can be purchased from Assur-Connect by clicking here.

Our partner Assur Connect’s insurance covers: medical repatriation based on actual costs, medical expenses, helicopter evacuation costs, and for EU residents, death and disability benefits, as well as personal liability for runners. What does Assur Connect’s BEsafe insurance cover?

If you have subscribed to the individual accident insurance for the Chablis Marathon with our partner Assur-Connect, you will be covered for the following:

🚁 Rescue and evacuation costs (EU and non‑EU)

🚒 Repatriation assistance (EU and non‑EU)

💥 Coverage in case of damage caused to a third party (EU only)

🏥 Medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical expenses (EU only)

👨‍🦽 Death and disability insurance (EU only).

🏡 Home and vehicle adaptation in case of an accident (EU only).

BEsafe is available for all residents under 70 years old. Some guarantees are not granted to non‑EU residents.

What is the QS (Health Questionnaire) for minors?

The Health Questionnaire (QS) is a mandatory, simple, and completely free procedure that each minor participant must complete before each race, with the help of a parent. It can be completed directly online on the official Pass Prévention Santé (PPS) website.
Once the questionnaire has been completed, a QS number is automatically generated, which is valid only for the event in question. This certificate replaces the medical certificate for minors.
The QS number must be obtained directly on the PPS platform, and the certificate number must be entered at the time of registration or until the deadline for online changes, i.e. until October, 22 at midday.

Is there live tracking to follow a runner during the race?

Yes. Several timing checkpoints will allow you to follow participants as they pass over the intermediate timing mats. Live tracking will be available on the Results page.

Which running shoes should I choose for the race?

The choice of shoes depends on the terrain of each event:

Marathon: with around 30% trails and 70% road, we recommend comfortable road-running shoes that still provide decent grip on unpaved sections.
Half Marathon: the course includes 25% trails and 75% road. Versatile road shoes or “road‑to‑trail” models (suitable for both asphalt and stable paths) are ideal.
14 km Race: with 65% trails and 35% road, opt for light trail shoes offering stability and traction while remaining comfortable on asphalt.

Whatever your choice, make sure to wear shoes you have already tested during training to avoid any surprises on race day.

Can I resell my bib?

Yes, you can resell your bib directly through the secure platform Swika for sold‑out races only: MORE INFO.

Access the official Swika platform to put your bib up for sale and officially withdraw from the race.

Bib submissions on Swika are allowed until 22 October 2026 at 9:00 am.

Important information:
Bib resale is only possible for sold‑out races and according to the pricing defined on the platform. Only the bib itself can be resold; additional options (shuttle, etc.) will be cancelled. If the buyer wishes to benefit from these options, they will need to purchase them separately. Bib purchases are only possible until 22 October 2026 at midday. The buyer must have completed their personal information by this deadline.

Information for the buyer or person taking over your bib:

Bib resale does not include insurance. Insurance does not transfer to the new bib holder.
Purchasing a bib implies acceptance of the event regulations.
If you buy a bib from a registered runner, you will not be able to subscribe to cancellation insurance or obtain a refund if you cannot participate. It will also not be possible to resell a bib purchased on Swika. This is not an organisational choice but a technical constraint of the registration system.

What is the proportion of roads and trails on the Marathon de Chablis courses?

For the Marathon: 30% trails, 70% road.
For the Half Marathon: 25% trails, 75% road.
For the 14 km Race: 65% trails, 35% road.

What is the PPS (Pass Prévention Santé)?

The PPS (= Pass Prévention Santé) is an online video module of about 3 minutes provided by the French Athletics Federation (FFA). Its purpose is to raise awareness among athletes about health risks related to running and trail running. After watching the video, you will receive a certificate code as well as a certificate with a QR code. This code must be entered on the registration platform.

Starting in 2026, the PPS becomes paid (€5) and is now valid for 1 year.

The PPS must be completed directly on the FFA website, and the certificate number must be provided at the time of registration or until the end of the online modification period, which is 22 October at midday.

How can I enter my PPS number or QS number?

Your health certificate (license or PPS or QS) must be entered in your online runner account: Your runner account can be accessed via the confirmation email you received when you registered online.

Is there a finisher medal?

Yes, a medal will be awarded to all finishers of the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 14 km Race. Made of wood and manufactured in France, this medal reflects our eco‑responsible approach, highlighting local craftsmanship and sustainable materials.
