AN ADVENTURE IN THE HEART OF THE VINEYARD

Come and discover the Chablis landscapes and live a real adventure in the heart of this renowned appellation ! This marathon, officially measured, will take you through the vineyards in a festive atmosphere.

After a departure where you will traverse the village of Chablis, you will cross the Grands Crus in the direction of Fontenay-Près-Chablis, place of the 1st refreshment station. You will then go to Poinchy (place of the 2nd refreshment), then you will attack the first difficulty of the day on the heights of Beines with a rather long, but not very steep climb.

Then, you will plunge into the middle of the vineyard of Beines to reach la Chapelle-Vaupelteigne and take advantage of the 5th refreshment station at half way (km 24).

You will continue on a flat part for several kilometers in the direction of Villy, under the look of the vineyards in the surroundings. Then, you will cross the Serein river to reach Maligny, place of the 6th refreshment station of the day.

You will then return to the Fontenay-Près-Chablis refreshment station by running a flat section in the middle of la Fourchaume vineyards. At the exit of the refreshment station you will start the last difficulty of the day, but not the least. The famous “Wall of the Marathon” will allow you to reach the heights of Fyé where you will finish your race in the heart of the Grands Crus Chablisiens.

Finally, after this descent and the crossing of the D965, you will cross Chablis by skirting the Collegiate Church, and will arrive on the Sector of Patis, where the arrival of the Marathon of Chablis will be judged!
